Ron Eyester, everyone’s favorite Angry Chef has made a name for himself as an innovative chef who is constantly reinventing American classics, and venting on Twitter! He has rejuvenated the Morningside neighborhood with his local restaurants Rosebud and The Family Dog and his bigger than life personality. His journey to today has been filled with twists and turns, and has influenced his cooking technique today. 
Although the kitchen is indeed the foundation of this passion, Ron has always been intrigued by the entire restaurant operation and its ever-evolving culture.  Ron insists that in continuing to be a student of this industry, the understanding of human nature and effective communication skills are imperative. In fact, the food is the easy part if I could hang back in the kitchen all day and just cook, life would certainly be less complicated.  However, it’s only after you get to know your guests that your cooking style can evolve and take a shape that truly reflects your neighborhood.  You have to be willing to get out there, listen, interact and make adjustments.”
Ron eventually settled in Atlanta with 101 Concepts as the sous chef of the original Food 101.  It was his many years with them that brought all his experiences “full circle” and prepared him for this next phase of his restaurant career as Executive Chef and Owner of Rosebud.
Rosebud has become the neighborhood eatery in Morningside and is the quintessential hangout for good music, good drinks, and good food. Ron serves a creative fare of American cuisine with a bit of Southern inspiration and is proud to offer a menu featuring local and regional ingredients because he believes in supporting his neighbors. Brunch at Rosebud has become an Atlanta tradition. Serving 700-800 guests each weekend, Rosebud has become the place to sip mimosas and bloody mary’s.
With Rosebud’s success, Chef Ron Eyester and business partner Jason Chenette opened The Family Dog, a local watering hole and cozy eatery.  The Family Dog has established itself as a haven of the neighborhood, offering its guests creative, farm-to-table pub cuisine and an innovative fare of handcrafted beers and cocktails.
Ron’s growth continues, as he has opened a new restaurant in the Morningside neighborhood, Timone’s. Although he has recently focused on all things Southern, he has returned to his New York roots by opening this local pizza joint named after his mother. Pizza and delicatessen inspired by The New York Italian food that Ron grew up eating during his Long Island upbringing is the focus at Timone’s.
