Having worked their way up from busboy to manager to owner, they truly understand the industry from every angle. Their extensive background includes owning and operating 11 restaurants, ranging from independent and franchise concepts to nightclubs and takeout/delivery establishments.

In 2007, their innovative marketing strategies earned them the prestigious “Best Marketers” award from the National Independent Restaurant Association, beating out over 5,000 independent restaurant owners. This recognition led them to become Brand Ambassadors, where they helped other independent restaurant owners maximize their marketing efforts and profitability. Their entrepreneurial spirit also led them to own a third-party delivery and online ordering platform, partnering with over 300 restaurants and streamlining digital operations for restaurant owners.

After years of successfully running restaurants and supporting other owners, Jeff and Tawnie set their sights on helping others buy and sell restaurants. In 2019, after extensive research, they joined the We Sell Restaurants family, Jeff is Licensed in both Colorado and Wyoming and Tawnie is Licensed in Colorado with both of them taking the classes to be Certified Restaurant Brokers. They recognized it as the most advanced platform for restaurant brokerage in the country. While Jeff is actively working on restaurant sales, Tawnie plays a crucial role behind the scenes, handling listings, making calls, and ensuring smooth operations. Outside of their business, Jeff and Tawnie stay active in their community. Jeff has been a cross-country and track coach for 30 years and is also a retired firefighter. Tawnie dedicates much of her time to caring for their special needs grandchildren, a role that is close to her heart.
